After Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 got certified by both the WiFi Authority and Bluetooth SIG, it’s now time for its specs to leak. Rumored for launch in Q1 2017, the device was leaked via Weibo, that revealed a potential features list.
Just like previously speculated, the device will have an Exynos 7420 CPU inside, as well as 4 GB of RAM and UFS2.0 storage apparently. We also expect a fingerprint scanner embedded within the Home button upfront and the move to an USB Type C port. Two versions of the slate have been spotted, the Galaxy Tab SM-T820, which is WiFi only and the LTE one, SM-T825.
Previously listed on Zauba, ever since last fall, the unit was initially expected at IFA 2017, but somehow didn’t make it. It’s very likely that it may end up being called the Galaxy Tab S (2017), in lieu of Galaxy Tab S3, but that’s only a theory of mine, so don’t bet on it. I predict there’s at least an 8 MP back camera here, if not a 13 MP one, plus a pretty slim metal body. The QHD or higher res screen is expected to come in an 8.4 inch and 10.5 inch version, but diagonals may be subjected to change.
