Samsung has started testing its next flagship tablet lineup, better said the Galaxy Tab S12 series, expected to drop in the fall, as the usual timeline dictates. It is expected to include two models: the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. Now tests have begun.
On Samsung’s servers there we spottings for a tablet model dubbed X946B, also known as X946BXXU0AZDN. According to previous reports, this corresponds to the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. We don’t have any extra details about the device. A previous leak talked about the Galaxy Tab S12+ packing a 10.392 mAh battery, which will be advertised as 10.500 mAh. The Tab S11 lineup was launched in September 2025 and the series before it also September, so we expect a similar pattern.
I expect once again a MediaTek-based tablet lineup, a stylus, perhaps even with new features and cameras similar to the models before. We may require some extra RAM for the AI features, so I guess 12 GB and 16 GB would be fine choices. AMOLED screens are a given and fingerprint scanners should be there, if people are to use these devices for Enterprise purposes.
Skinny metal bodies? 5 mm or so? Check!
