It appears Samsung could be preparing to debut a new Galaxy Mega series device, since a new 7 inch smartphone with their branding has leaked. The newcomer is called Samsung SM-T2558 and it’s supposed to be a huge smartphone.
This model comes with a quad core CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz, probably a Snapdragon 400 and it even gets pictured above. All the leaks come via TENAA, the Chinese FCC. The product is expected to support a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and come with 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. There should also be a 2 megapixel camera upfront and an 8 megapixel shooter with flash at the back.
Measuring 8.95 mm in thickness, the Samsung SM-T2558 is about as thick as the 7 inch Galaxy Tab 7.0 and it weighs 245 grams, which is very light for such a device. The strange bit is that this model only runs Android 4.3, that feels antique right now. The good news is that it comes with LTE…
