Motorola has officially introduced the Moto Pad 70 Pro, its latest premium Android tablet and the successor to last year’s Moto Pad 60 Pro. The new model arrives with flagship-inspired hardware, a sleek metal unibody design and a focus on gaming, productivity and multimedia, while remaining competitively priced.
The Moto Pad 70 Pro features a 13-inch 3.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 12-bit color, 800 nits of peak brightness, and Dolby Vision support. While Motorola has yet to confirm whether the panel is LCD or AMOLED, its specifications make it one of the most impressive displays in its price range. The tablet measures just 6.2mm thick, weighs 589 grams, and is available in a Pantone Titan finish.

Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. The tablet ships with Android 16 out of the box, and Motorola promises upgrades to Android 17 and Android 18, along with security updates through 2030. The company also says the tablet supports 120 FPS gaming in compatible titles.

Motorola includes several productivity-focused features, including Smart Connect, allowing seamless integration with Lenovo PCs and tablets, Moto smartphones, smartwatches and earbuds. The tablet also supports PC Mode, comes with the Moto Pen Pro stylus included in the box, and offers an optional Snap-On keyboard for users looking for a laptop-like experience.

On the multimedia side, the Moto Pad 70 Pro packs a 10,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging, while Motorola includes a more powerful 68W charger in the retail package. Other highlights include quad JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, a microSD card slot supporting up to 2TB, an 8MP front-facing camera for video calls, and a 13MP rear camera. One notable omission is cellular connectivity, as the tablet is available in Wi-Fi-only configurations without 4G or 5G support.

Price
The Moto Pad 70 Pro starts at €345 for the 8GB + 128GB model, while the 8GB + 256GB version costs €374. Motorola also offers a productivity bundle including the Snap-On keyboard for €430, making it an attractive option for users looking for an affordable large-screen Android tablet.
