Samsung is putting Bixby, its own smart assistant on more and more devices, tablets included. The latest such achievement sees the Samsung Galaxy Tab A with Bixby Home model flaunting its features. This is an 8 inch device, that just debuted in Korea.

It’s actually the first slate with Bixby Home and the Reminder software. Bixby Home is a hub that comes with a card-based UI, showing info from a variety of apps and functions. Bixby Reminder is basically a reminder system that gives you ample notifications, with website links, photos, videos and more. The alert will come at certain times and at certain locations.

There’s also the option to use the tablet as digital photo frame, plus show the calendar, weather and more during charging. Samsung has also included a Kids Mode, a Smart View mode for screen sharing functionality with a smart TV and even the Game Launcher from Samsung smartphones. Samsung Galaxy Tab A comes with an 8 megapixel main camera with F/1.9 aperture, a 5 MP Front shooter and a 1.4 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage.

There’s also a 5000 mAh battery inside and a microSD card slot too. The 8 inch screen offers a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. Samsung offers the WiFi model priced at $240 and the LTE one sells for about $280.
