Gigabyte was also present in Las Vegas for CES 2013, where they introduced two new slates, the S1185 and the S1082 models. One of them is intended for the more casual user, while the other is directed towards the business user. The Gigabyte S1185 tablet packs a 11.6 inch Full HD IPS display and runs Windows 8.

Inside it here’s a 3rd generation Intel Core processor, plus the standard setup involving VGA and HDMI ports. There’s also a magnetic keyboard, mouse buttons, optical finger navigation (PC mode) and dual cameras. The S1082 slate is energy efficient and uses an Intel dual core CPU, plus there will be a 500 GB HDD version of the slate and a SSD version for more speed.

The S1082 Slate uses a capacitive multitouch display and finger navigation, plus mouse buttons, while the S1082 packs HDMI, LAN and VGA ports. There’s a bonus here, as the built in 3.5 GB antenna, that allows you to stay online anywhere and anytime. There’s also a keyboard accessory for those who like to type.
