Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, one of the most appreciated Android tablets this year and one of the first devices with this OS and 2 GB of RAM has just started receiving Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates. We’re strictly talking about the WiFi only version of the Galaxy Note 10.1, the model number N8010.
The update is a 441 MB file, that’s available only in Germany so far, being delivered over the air. This one brings Android 4.1 and not 4.2, in case you’re wondering. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 tablet with a new generation of S Pen, quad core Exynos 4412 processor at 1.4 GHz, 16/32/64 GB of storage, Bluetooth 4.0, dual band WiFi and a 5 MP cam at the back. There’s also a 1.9 megapixel front facing camera, a microSD card slot and a 7000 mAh Li-Ion battery on board.
As usual, Jelly Bean brings the speed of Project Butter on the device, an amplified notification area, performance enhancements, bug fixes and new camera/gallery feats, plus new versions of all Google apps, like Gmail, Google Maps and YouTube. In other news related to this slate, a LTE version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 will be launched in USA by Verizon soon.
