HONOR has expanded its Android tablet lineup with the HONOR Pad 20 Pro, a large-screen model that combines a high-refresh-rate display, Qualcomm hardware and a battery built for long sessions away from the charger. A Paperlike Edition is also joining the range, targeting users who spend more time reading, writing or drawing on their tablet.
The centerpiece is a 12.1-inch IPS LCD with a 3000 x 1872 pixel resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The panel delivers 292 ppi, covers the DCI-P3 color gamut, supports 1.07 billion colors and reaches up to 700 nits of brightness. HONOR has also included global DC dimming, dynamic dimming and hardware-level low blue light technology, alongside AI-powered eye comfort features.

The Paperlike Edition takes things a step further with a micro-textured, anti-glare surface. Apart from reducing reflections, the treatment is designed to add a little resistance when writing with the HONOR Magic-Pencil 4s, creating a sensation closer to putting pen to paper. The stylus itself promises up to 10 hours of continuous use following a 50-minute charge.
Performance comes courtesy of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, paired with the Adreno 825 GPU. The announced Paperlike configuration includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while software duties are handled by MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. HONOR is leaning heavily into productivity here, offering a PC Mode with resizable windows, keyboard and mouse support and a more desktop-like interface.
There are AI features as well. AI Memo can record meetings, transcribe conversations, generate summaries and even turn information into mind maps. Cross-device sharing and multi-screen collaboration are also supported across compatible smartphones and computers.
Powering everything is a 10,100mAh battery with 66W charging. HONOR claims up to 12 hours of video playback, seven hours of gaming, eight hours of note-taking or 13 hours of reading. Audio is handled by a six-speaker system with DTS:X Ultra and HONOR Spatial Audio support.
The rest of the hardware includes a 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and USB-C with OTG support. There is no SIM slot, however, so this remains a Wi-Fi-only tablet. Despite the 12.1-inch screen and large battery, the Pad 20 Pro measures just 6.29mm thick and weighs 537 grams.
The HONOR Pad 20 Pro Paperlike Edition will be available in Grey, but HONOR has yet to announce pricing and detailed market availability.
