Wacom is preparing a new tablet from the Cintiq series, the Wacom Cintiq 13HD model, that’s coming this month. The device is meant for artists and professionals and can be checked out below.
Wacom was keeping busy at CES, unveiling a variety of products, but now they seem focused on this one. Wacom Cintiq 10HD is designed to make the user feels like he’s drawing on paper or canvas. It works excellently with the Pro Pen and the stylus offers 2048 pressure sensitivity levels, much like the S Pen from the Galaxy Note 4. There’s also tilt recognition and multi touch integration, with zooming by combining the pen and touch input.
The Cintiq 13HD bundles a Full HD display with 16.7 million colors, a widescreen format, LED backlight and a 178 degree view angle. Wacom promises crisp colors here and includes a stand that’s adjustable at 4 levels: flat, 22, 35 and 50 degrees. The tablet is priced at $999.95, which is a pretty steep amount.
