Even if the actual Windows live tiles for desktop or for the mobile platform looks good, they can’t give the user the opportunity to interact with them. As it seems, in the future this thing could change, as the Asia Microsoft Rearch unit shows us in a bunch of videos.
As you can see in the video below, these new live tiles allows users to easily interact with them. A little example it’s the email tile that allows us to navigate through the list of received emails right from the tile mode, without entering in the main email app to do that.
These live tiles looks very good, and we expect to see them in a future Windows update, but this doesn’t depend on us, so we just have to wait and see if Microsoft will release it for the Windows 8.1/WP 8.1 platform or we have to wait for it until the next big Windows 9 update.
