After launching the Xperia Z line, consisting of the flagship smartphone and tablet, Sony went forward onto releasing its new mid-low level handsets, the Xperia SP and Xperia L. The latest rumors talk about the manufacturer going even further with future releases for the Japanese market.
Sony is supposedly preparing new models of handsets to launch on the Japanese market. One of these is the Sony Xperia UL (SOL22) Codename “Gaga”, a very powerful Snapdragon 600 running device, offering a 5-inch Full HD display and the already usual 2 GB of RAM. Another on the list is the Sony Xperia A (SO-04E) Codename “Dogo”, running on the same Snapdragon 600 chip, but with a smaller 4.6-inch display, 2 GB of RAM, IR blaster and a 2300 mAh battery.
The main highlight for Sony’s future announcements in Japan has to be the Togari Phablet. The device is reportedly packing a very large 6.4-inch display which is the IPS kind and offers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution. Other rumored specs include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, 3GB RAM, Adreno 330 GPU, 32GB storage, 13 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 3500 mAh battery, NFC, LTE, Stylus support, and more.
