After some teasing and presentations, LG’s Gram 2 in 1 device became available today in USA and South Korea. The machine is supposed to be a Lenovo Yoga contender and comes with a rotating screen. It’ll be priced at around $1600 and that’s just the starting price.

The product has already reached Best Buy over the past week, apparently. It combines a 14 inch Full HD IPS display with a laptop’s body. It can rotate up to 360 degrees and it offers touch functionality. The laptop also makes use of a Wacom stylus, letting users do drawing, write by hand and tweak gradients and directions.

4096 levels of pressure are available here. LG Electronics may have used a 14 inch diagonal here, but they’ve implemented it on a format suited for a 13.3 incher and the whole thing weighs 1145 grams. The device has an Intel 8th gen CPU, a slot for SSD storage, the latest DDR4 RAM and a fingerprint scanner within the Power button.

LG Gram 2 in 1 also has the appeal of the “military specifications”, which make it more rugged than the norm. It can take shocks, dust, high temperature, vibration, salt and more. The device comes in a config that involves the Intel Whiskey Lake Core i7 CPU, 512 GB of SSD and 16 GB of RAM. It’s also pretty light at 1.15 kilograms, compared to the MacBook Air 2018 even.
