Recently, a new phablet was seen at the China Industry and Information Technology agency, a phablet named Coolpad 8971 that will pack a 5.9 inch Full HD display. This phablet arrived at the certification agency on April 30, 2014. We also find out that this device will be packing Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.
Coolpad 8971 comes with a 5.9 inch Full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels), a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AB clocked at 2.3 GHz, 3 GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera. On the conectivity side we have LTE and W-CDMA.
The device measures 159.0 x 81.6 and 8 mm in thickness. Collpad 8971 weighs about 198 grams, and it will be available in two color variations, white and black.
