Renault’s Frendzy concept car has a very interesting part at its core, that you might be familiar with. I’m talking about the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, that plugs into the dashboard and allows you to access its features.

We’ll see this car on display at the 64th Frankfurt Auto Show and maybe this time we’ll also see a revamped PlayBook. This slate is even able to control some of the car’s features and the stuff shown on the Frendzy’s exterior display.

This screen can show videos, movies or information when the car is running at top speed, or parked. The sensors on the vehicle’s doors rely on RFID signals that are sent to the PlayBook. The info sent includes destination address, dimensions of packages inside the car (weight) and much more. This is an electric concept car that will most likely remain a mere prototype…
