Samsung unveiled 5 new products on August 5th, but as usual not all of them are coming to the stores at the same time. For example the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Note 20 debuted in Europe on August 21st. Now we learn when the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ will debut in the second most populous country in the world, India.
The new slates will start shipping in India on September 7th and we have more details below. Sadly we don’t have the price for these devices for the Indian market, but the products have been listed on Samsung’s online store in Mystic Black, Silver and Mystic Bronze. The devices appear with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Both slates are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor and pack 120 Hz screens and I’m more impressed by the battery capacity rather than anything else.
I’m talking about a 8000 mAh battery on the Tab S7 and a 10.090 mAh unit for the Tab S7+. They also charge fast, at 45W. Frankly, if you take them pound per pound, they’re more clearly upgraded compared to the Tab S6, than the Note 20 series is compared to the Note 10 one. We also get new styli, with the new gestures from the Note 20 series, like the Back, Recents, Home done with an Air Gesture. The pen latency is 26 ms for the Tab S7 and 9 ms for the Tab S7+.
These products can also be accessorized with a keyboard and other cases, including ones with a kickstand. Security is taken case of by a side mounted fingerprint scanner on the Tab S7 and the Plus model has an in display solution. In Europe Tab S7+ costs 900 euros and the Tab S7 is 700 euros.
