After the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) models got leaked and even spotted on sale on a Polish retailer, it’s the turn of the Samsung Galaxy Tab E Lte (2016) to get the same treatment. All we have now are renders and some minor details about the product.
These are official-looking product renders and this model is said to be one of the three Tab E 2016 units. There will be a Galaxy Tab E 7.0 2016, a Galaxy Tab E Lite and a Galaxy Tab E Lite Kids. The model that interests us is the leaked, one Galaxy Tab E Lite (2016), that will pack a 7 inch 1024 x 600 pixel display. Inside we’ll find a quad core Spreadtrum SC8830 processor, that includes 4 ARM Cortex A7 cores, clocked at 1.3 GHz.
The RAM quantity will be 1 GB and we’ll also be getting 8 GB of storage, plus a microSD card slot. The source also mentions a 2 megapixel back camera, a 3600 mAh battery and 9 hours of usage time. The product comes with WiFi and Bluetooth, no trace of LTE here. It’ll measure 9.7 mm in thickness and weigh 310 grams. The OS is going to be the outdated Android 4.4 KitKat.
Expect a price of $149.99 or so.
