Samsung already announced the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2016) tablet, so we were waiting for the 10 inch version to pop and it just did. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is now official and it’ll start selling from next month.
It packs a 10.1 inch 1920 x 1200 pixel display and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, relying on an Exynos 7870 octa core CPU clocked at 1.6 GHz. This model relies on an 8 megapixel main camera, a front 2 MP shooter and 2 GB of RAM. It also brings 16 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and all of those are crammed within an 8.2 mm thick chassis.
Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) weighs 525 grams and it’s been confirmed to come in black or white, priced at 289 euros in the WiFi version. We’ll also get a LTE version, with a 349 euro price tag. The June launch only applies to Europe, so the US has to wait a bit more.
