Red Magic keeps on launching gaming products and this time we’re talking about a gaming tablet. This one has water cooling and it has been teased below. It even has a launch date and some specs shared.
Back in May 2026, the folks of Red Magic announced that they would be unveiling the next gaming tablet in June. Now there’s a proper introduction date. The slate will be called RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro in China and it will debut on June 30. In Europe it may end up being named RedMagic Astra 2. After all, the predecessor, RedMagic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro became the RedMAgic Astra in global markets.
The newcomer is expected to come int wo colors, black/grey and white and it should also feature water cooling. The water cooling pipes are visible at the back of the machine. Rumors claim that the newcomer will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and sport a 9 inch OLED screen with a 185 Hz refresh rate. This OLED panel will definitely drive the price up.
The previous unit started at 3999 yuan, which is 517 euros. The new model will probably be at least 700 euros.
