We’ve already heard rumors that ASUS was prepping a new Transformer tablet model, but without proof we had nothing to go on. The US FCC has approved the certification of the newcomer for Bluetooth use and the codename we know of is K00C.
The new ASUS Transformer Pad may be too fresh for IFA 2013, that’s starting next week, so we could see it later on during the fall or maybe winter. The product is assembled by Pegatron and it comes with WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It offers support for Bluetooth 3.0 EDR and has a single speaker and a camera at the back.
We also find out that the K00C will be used as a hybrid, so it will also have a keyboard dock, typical for the Transformer devices. Android is pretty much a given and I sure want to see how Android 4.3 looks on such a device. The documents show that the new Transformer has been tested for the US and Canadian market, but that doesn’t mean Europe won’t get it as well.
