It’s a dual SIM device with a 7 inch TFT display, supporting a modest resolution: 1024 x 600 pixels. The newcomer relies on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and also has a dual core MediaTek MT8312 processor, clocked at 1.3 GHz, as well as 1 GB of RAM. There’s a 5 megapixel fixed focus camera on board and a 0.3 MP front shooter. As far as storage goes, there’s 8 GB here, that can be expanded via microSD, with up to 32 GB.

We’ve got a 3200 mAh battery in the mix, too, offering up to 158 hours of standby time or 11 hours of talk time. Micromax Canvas Tab P470 offers support for 21 Indian languages. Micromax also unveiled an 8 inch tablet last month, with Android and a higher price. That was an Intel Atom model with 1 GB of RAM.
