Lenovo always seems to be expanding its portofolio of devices, constantly prepping something new and juicy. On that list we also find the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus tablet, a device with a Snapdragon chipset, that was recently spotted online and it’s pictured below.
This model is supposed to be a higher end affair than the other models from the Tab3 family introduced earlier this year. The Plus here is an indication of that, as the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus arrives with a Full HD screen resolution, 3 GB of RAM and a camera bump to 8 megapixel at the back and 5 MP upfront. There’s a 32 GB storage version and a 64 GB version, as well as microSD support.
A jump in chipset has been recorded, as the predecessor had a quad core MediaTek CPU and the newcomer brings a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. It’s based on a 14 nm process and should provide a boost to both processing power and lower the power usage. A 4300 mAh battery pack should be here. Price this right and you may even offer the Huawei Nexus rumored slate a run for the money.
