Automatic detection of open WiFi networks and an updated Battery pop-up alert are also on the changelog list. Also, you can now charge the device when it’s powered off, so that’s a pretty big gain. You also get 6 new languages on the device, including French, Italian, Dutch, German, Spanish and UK English.

As an extra you’ll find an improved Facebook app and audio headset boost is also there to improved the quality of your talks. Sadly, there’s no solving for the fact that you still need a BlackBerry handset to get email on your PlayBook…
