Electronics manufacturer Acer has some highly appreciated products on the market while keeping their prices on a competitive level. Their latest Android tablet device – Iconia B1 – has been rumored to be priced at about $99 and was expected to be announced at CES this year.
Acer Iconia B1 is one of the manufacturer’s latest tablet devices and is expected to be unveiled during CES this year. According to the most recent info, the device will be priced somewhere around $149 ($50 over the initial rumors) and aims to compete against devices like the Nexus 7.
The hardware configuration of the Iconia B1 is nothing to brag about. It is powered by a dual-core 1.2 Ghz chipset with 512 MB of RAM. It features a 7 inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 and pixel density of 170ppi. There are 8 GB of interal storage space with the possibility of expansion via Micro SD. One thing worth noting is that it comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean pre-installed.
The Acer tablet appeared shortly on the manufacturer’s website but was quickly removed in anticipation for this year’s CES event. Soon after the event the device will be available on the Indian market.
