IFA 2019 has been done for a bit now, but we’re still recapping the products launched there. Among them we find 4 new Chromebooks, that have prices starting at $250. There’s one for every budget and diagonals going from 11.6 inches to 15.6 inches.
All of these new Chromebooks come with fanless designs and they should come to Europe, Africa and the Middle East from October. They also have in common the connectivity: two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C ports, usable for both charging and data, as well as two USB Type-A 3.1 ports, HD webcams and microSD card slots.
They also come with WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.0 and they’re expected with a choice of Intel Celeron N4000 dual core or Intel Celeron N4100 quad core processors. The largest of the bunch, Chromebook 315 takes it up to an Intel Pentium Silver N5000.

Acer Chromebook 311(CB311-9H/9HT)
This is the smallest and most affordable of the pack, with an 11.6 inch screen and a starting price of $250. It weighs 2.3 pounds and comes with up to 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of eMMC storage, as well as a HD IPS display.
Acer Chromebook Spin 311 (CP311-2H)
This is the convertible of the pack, able to rotate at 360 degrees, as the name shows. The starting price is $330 and it’s the most expensive unit of the bunch. It’s got a 360 degree hinge and turns from tablet to laptop. It weighs 2.6 pounds and comes with Gorilla glass protection for the touchscreen. This one reaches up to 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
Acer Chromebook 314 (CB314-1H/1HT)
This model lets you choose between a 14 inch touch or non touch display and it’ll come with up to a Full HD IPS LCD display. The price starts at $280 and the device supports up to 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. It’s also a bit more serious looking.
Acer Chromebook 315 (CB315-3H/3HT)
The Acer Chromebook 315 provides an extra from the rest of the bunch: a numeric keypad. It’s a 15.6 incher with an IPS LCD panel and a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It starts at $280 and provides up to 128 GB of eMMC storage.
