Yesterday, Acer announced two new 7-inch tablets that are part of Iconia range of devices. These new tablets are Iconia Tab 7 and Iconia One 7. While the Iconia One 7 will arrive on the market with Android 4.2 JellyBean preinstalled, we find out that the other model, the Iconia Tab 7 will have Android 4.4 KitKat from start.
The first one, the Iconia One 7 packs a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, a dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor, 1 GB of RAM, stereo speakers, 16 GB of storage and a microSD card slot up to 32 GB. This tablet manages to measure just 8.9 mm in thinnes. It’s expected that this tablet to hit the market at the end of June at a pricetag of 130$.
The other model, Acer Iconia Tab 7 comes with a 7-inch display too (1280 x 800), a quad-core MediaTek processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a microSD card slot up to 32 GB and Android 4.4 KitKat as default operating sistem. This tablet also comes with voice calls and 3G connectivity. Acer Iconia Tab 7 will arrive on the market in May at a pricetag of 149 euros.
