Somehow tablets are back! At Computex 2026, Acer unveiled new Iconia Duo tablet models, that have diagonals reaching up to 14.2 inches. We have 3 new tablets announced, aimed at productivity, entertainment and everyday computing. The lineup includes Iconia Duo S14, Iconia Duo S12 and Iconia Duo D12. The CPUs of choice are MediaTek ones.
First of all, we start with the Acer Iconia Duo S14, which is pretty much a flagship. It comes with a large 14.2 inch OLED panel with a 2880 x 1840 pixel resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The panel covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and the machine provides a 3:2 aspect ratio. It also reaches up to 400 nits of brightness. Inside we find a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor, up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The battery is a 10.000 mAh unit, which is quite large and there’s also 4 speakers, Wi-Fi 6E, dual USB-C ports, a microSD card slot and even stylus support. Cameras include a 13 MP back shooter and a front 8 MP shooter.
Then we have the Acer Iconia Duo S12, basically a more compact S14. This one comes with a 12.2 inch OLED display with a 2800 x 1840 pixel resolution, full DCI-P3 color coverage and up to 600 nits of brightness. Inside there’s a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, plus up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The tablet packs an 8000 mAh battery and uses the same 13 MP back cam and 8 MP front cam of the S14.
Finally, the Acer Iconia Duo D12 is a more affordable device, with a 12.2 inch screen, with a 2400 x 1600 pixel resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. There’s also a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The battery drops to 8000 mAh and we also get an 8 MP back cam, 5 MP front cam, Wi-Fi 6, USB-C, dual speakers. This one weighs just 620 grams.
