Lenovo continues to prepare its big arsenal of machines for the IFA 2018 show coming next week. Before that one arrives, we learn that one of their devices has leaked online, via Lenovo itself. Meet the Lenovo Yoga C930 laptop.
As expected, Lenovo is going to update its Yoga 900 line of premium notebooks soon enough. Someone from the company decided to post a spec sheet for the Lenovo Yoga C930 ahead of time, even before the company announced anything. The newcomer sounds a lot like the Yoga 920 from last year, when it comes to the specs. The design has been revamped though. We’re expecting a lower price and a beefier body, as well as a less impressive battery life.
On board we find a 13.9 inch Full HD or 4K display that plays nicely with a stylus. Lenovo Yoga C930 has a watchband style hinge and a rotating screen that goes all the way around. It’s also 0.57 inches thick in lieu of the 0.5 inches of the last year model. The battery life estimation has also dropped from 15.5 hours to 12 hours for models with Full HD screens and from 10.8 hours to 10 hours for models with a 3840 x 2160 pixel display.
CPU choices include an Intel Core i5-8250U and Core i7-8550U, plus there’s 8 GB, 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM (DDR4). Storage goes up to 2 TB and starts at 256 GB. On the connectivity front we’ve got two Thunderbolt 3/USB type-C ports, one USB 3.1 port and Bluetooth 4.1, as well as WiFi ac. A rotating soundbar with Dolby Atmos also sounds pretty badass. More will be revealed come IFA 2018.
