The 8 inch ZTE Grand X View tablet has been stopped from sale in Canada, after a technical issue was found. The device debuted via carriers Bell and Virgin last September and was pretty affordable.

The Android 5.0 Lollipop slate had its sales stopped ever since last month, because of a radio frequency-related problem. Inventory has been shipped back to ZTE for the required modifications. A mandatory software update was also pushed this week, trying to fix issues for the current owners of the device. Bell and Virgin have announced plans to replenish their inventory tomorrow.

ZTE Grand X View packs an 8 inch Full HD screen, a Snapdragon 615 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. It also has 5 MP back and front cameras, a 4620 mAh battery and brings LTE support. It remains to be seen just how many such models have been sold, or will be sold after the issue is fixed.
