As you know already, I’ve had the chance of playing with the ASUS Transformer Pad TF103C for the past days and benchmarks were also part of that play. The device was unveiled last week at Computex and we already unboxed it here. Its interesting aspect is that it comes with an Intel 64 bit quad core processor, that we put to the test below.
In Quadrant we scored 11593 points, which is decently close to the 12k points of the ASUS TF701T, that has a Tegra 4 CPU. Meanwhile, in AnTuTu we got a very impressive 33436 points, that beats the Tegra 4 model by 7000 points and even beats the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition. NenaMark 2.0 brought us 60.6 FPS, beating the Tegra 4 model yet again, while Vellamo registered a decent 2011 score in HTML5.
In 3DMark we got 14063 points with the ASUS Transformer Pad TF103C, putting this model on par with the score of the iPad Air. In GeekBench 3 we achieved 769 points in the single core test and 2344 in the multi core, once again not very far from the latest iPads. I also did a speed test and the connection passed the 20 Mbps mark in both download and upload. Finally, Sunspider offered a modest 602 points score and BrowserMark 2.1 wouldn’t run on the ASUS stock browser.
It seems that the 64 bit CPU inside this newcomer is really a beast… We’ll be back with a full review soon.
