The folks of Phone Arena have a nifty segment called Monsters of Asia, where they analyze the biggest diagonal devices they can get their hands on, straight out of the Asian market. Today’s edition details the ZTE Nubia X6, a model that should have made more headlines than it already has.
This is a 6.44 inch device, playing the same category as the much more popular Xperia Z Ultra. It measures 7.9 mm in thickness and packs a Full HD screen panel among the specs. Inside there’s a quad core Snapdragon 801 CPU, accompanied by 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM. There will also be a configuration for sale with 3 GB of RAM, by the way and 128 GB of microSD expandable storage.
The X6 has a 13 megapixel camera with OIS and a Sony Exmor RS sensor, plus a 5 element lens with wide F/2.0 aperture. There’s an LED flash in the mix as well here and the crazy thing is that the front camera is almost just as good. It’s a BSI cam with 13 MP resolution and F/2.2 aperture. This Nubia has a pretty impressive 4250 mAh battery, that would even do well on a 7 inch tablet.
Finally, it comes with two SIM slots and 4G LTE support. The price of the cheaper model costs around $485, while the higher end unit goes for $645.
