HP was quite productive about tablets this past year, releasing quite a few models in 2013 and starting off 2014 with a bang. After the Slate 7, Slate 8 Pro and Slate 10 HD, some Plus models are expected. And today we have some leaks about a new bunch of slates from HP.
The leak has @evleaks as the author and these are previously unseen HP tablets. They all seem pretty compact and their designs are familiar, since they remind me of the HTC One or the iPhone, but in a bigger form factor. The red unit seems to have a Beats Audio branding and the other models are shown in silver, black and gold. I can see that the silver tablet has a flash next to the camera and the red one seems to be made of plastic.
The form factors should gravitate around 7 inches, 7.85 inches or 8 inchers, if you ask me. HP’s golden model has got to be the strangest one, since it comes with dual front speakers and a format that’s more suited for a smartphone, rather than a tablet.
