Samsung’s unveiling of new Ativ products is only a few weeks old, since they debuted during the Premiere event in London last month. Today they decided to offer up for preorder the products from this lineup.
The preorders started on Amazon UK and the newcomers are the Samsung ATIV Book 9 Lite, that is priced at 499 quid in the non touchscreen version and 599 quid in the touchscreen version. And then there’s the more powerful high resolution Book 9 Plus model, with a higher price. The Ativ Book 9 packs a 13 inch display and the Plus model comes with an Intel Core i5 CPU, while the Lite one is based on an AMD A6 quad core chip.
The Ativ Q convertible tablet is also available now, with a 13.3 inch qHD+ touchscreen and a price tag of 1399 quid. This is a hybrid, that involves both Windows 8 and Android 4.2.2, 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and a 4th gen Intel Core i5 processor and Intel HD 4400 graphics, as well as 128 GB of SSD storage. The resolution is very impressive, at 3200 x 1800 pixels. The devices start selling on July 19 and the 12th on Amazon.
