While Samsung’s popular Galaxy Tab slate sports a microSD card slot, Research in Motion’s BlackBerry Playbook disappointed a bit when we found out that it was going to launch with only 16GB or 32GB on board and without extra storage. Luckily, we’ve just found out that a 64GB version will also pop up and it seems that under the hood we’ll find a 5300mAh battery.

No info on the price or launch date of the device and the new details mentioned above come straight from RIM co-CEO Jim Balsillie, who spoke during the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition.
