It appears that the latest build of Windows 8.1 has been distributed to the OEMs for final testing and we’re talking about the #9477 build here. This appears to be the last build, so it means all the Win 8.1 features are final.

Build 9477

Microsoft has been working hard with this release to improve existing features and implement new ones. The Redmond company has been listening to consumers and integrating features required by the public. If the rumor is true, than the company is ahead of schedule and could offer the Win 8.1 update even before autumn time.

Among the new features in the fresh Windows release is Workplace Join, that allows IT administrators to offer fine grain control to corporate resources. There’s also Work Folders, Open Mobile Device Management and Web Application Proxy. There’s also NFC Tap to pair printing, WiFi direct printing and Native Miracast Wireless Display. Support for a wider range of VPN clients is included, plus mobile broadband, Windows to Go and broadband tethering.
