The latest Sony Xperia Tablet, part of the Z series, is one of the most anticipated devices for this year, expected to go on sale pretty soon. For now the manufacturer seems to have broken the ice and kept its promise in regards to when the device might be available in Asia.
NTT DoCoMo has already posted its plans a while back, including for offering the new Sony Xperia Tablet Z very soon. Now it seems it has come to the provider finally having the tablet in stock and available for sale. More so, unlike the usual manner, here the LTE variant is the one available first, as the WiFi version is expected in April on the 13th.
The price for the Xperia Tablet Z is close to 85,470 Yen or $906. The version will also not offer the usual characteristics for the Asian market, like a TV antenna. The tablet is the slimmest on the market today, and IP57 certified – dust proof and water resistant. It offers a very powerful hardware configuration, including the quad-core Snapdragon S4 chip with 2 GB of RAM and a superb 1200 x 1920 pixels, 10.1 inches display.
