Over the past month and a half we have seen a lot of Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 leaks, even some related to a Galaxy Tab S8 Lite, a Tab S6e and some Tab A models. Today the naming pattern gets cleared up and we learn that we’re going to see a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite 5G and Galaxy Tab A7 Lite in June. Diagonal changes are expected.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite 5G is going to be quite big as far as “Lite” models go, at 12.4 inches in diagonal. It also leaves out any potential for a Tab S7 Lite Plus model. The price of the device may be around $600 and it should debut in June 2021. Rumors talk about a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and we can also speculate on other traits with ease. For example there’s surely a quad speaker setup here, a slim waistline and a 5G capable CPU, maybe a Snapdragon 765G or Snapdragon 750G. Or perhaps the Exynos 1080.

A 10.000 mAh battery is likely, plus a singular 13 MP back camera. One UI 3.1 and Android 11 are pretty much a given.

And then we get to the other newcomer, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, which goes to a small 8.7 inch diagonal. A slim metal unibody design is expected, plus a price that may even go below $250 or even $200. I expect a TFT screen, a Snapdragon 6xx or 7xx CPU, 64 GB of storage or 128 GB and 4 GB of RAM. A single back camera is shown here and bezels are quite slim. Quad speakers would also be nice.
