Samsung is expanding availability of its latest tablets, that have just reached Malaysia. We’re talking about 3 new tablets: Samsung Galaxy Tab A with S Pen, Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e and Galaxy Tab A 10.1.
The most affordable model of the trio is the Samsung Galaxy Tab A, which is priced at $265, with the S-Pen bundled. The Galaxy Tab S5e, which ran into some bugs recently is priced at $482, while the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 goes for $216 for the WiFi version and $312 for the LTE version. Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is definitely the most appealing of the bunch, since it’s just 5.5 mm slim and it comes with a 10.5 inch Super AMOLED screen with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution.
There’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 CPU inside, 6 GB of RAM and an Adreno 615 GPU in the mix. It also has a beefy 7040 mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner and a 13 megapixel rear camera, plus an 8 megapixel front shooter and quad speakers tuned by AKG. The product is available in gold and black, at least in Malaysia.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 packs a 10.1 inch WUXGA display and relies on an Exynos 7904 octa core processor. The WiFi version has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, while the LTE model has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. There’s a 6150 mAh battery inside and an 8 megapixel back camera, plus a 5 MP front shooter.
Finally, the new Galaxy Tab A with S Pen packs an 8 inch WUXGA display and a smaller 4200 mAh battery. It has an Exynos 7904 CPU, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. There’s LTE support here and the same camera combo as the model above. The S-Pen has a supercapacitor and slides into the body of the slate.
