Samsung’s flagship tablet may or may not debut together with the Galaxy Note 5 next month, but if it doesn’t, there’s always IFA 2015. In the meantime, we’ve spotted a press render of the device, that appeared on the web.
The source of the leak goes as far as claiming that the product will be announced next week. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is a flagship because it’s very slim, it has a good looking design and a Super AMOLED display. There will be a 9.7 inch version of the slate and an 8 inch version, both with 4:3 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.
They will also share a 64 bit octa core Exynos 7420 processor, 3 GB of RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop, as well as 4G LTE connectivity. The Tab S2 9.7 is said to measure just 5.4 mm in thickness and weigh 407 grams, while the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 will weigh only 260 grams, with the same thickness. Android 5.1 should be on board, with the latest TouchWiz.
