Samsung took advantage of the avalanche of products at Computex 2013 to draw attention on itself, by announcing today the long awaited models of the Galaxy Tab 3 series. I’m talking about the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8 and the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1.
These complete the already launched 7 inch model and offer pretty similar features. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8 is designed to be held with a single hand and it comes with a very slim bezel, Sound Alive Samsung technology and Dolby Surround for video playback. The 8 inch model features a 1.5 GHz dual core processor and relies on a WXGA TFT display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution.
Other specs include 1.5 GB of RAM, a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel videocall camera. Powering up the whole unit is a 4,450 mAh battery and internally we’ve got 16 GB or 32 GB of storage. The 10.1 inch Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 is the really interesting part, thanks to an Intel CPU. It also comes with Smart Remote and MHL features, among others.
The 10.1 incher comes with LTE, a 1.6 GHz dual core Intel CPU and a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 pixel TFT display. At the back we’ve got a 3 MP camera, while upfront there’s a 1.3 MP shooter. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 uses WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, AGPS, 16/32 GB of storage, 1 GB of RAM and a Li-Ion 6800 mAh battery. Products will debut globally early this month.
