Prince of Persia The Shadow and the Flame, also known as Prince of Persia 2 is now heading towards handsets and tablets, according to Ubisoft. The company has already posted a trailer of the title, promising revamped graphics and extras.
Just a few months ago we saw Prince of Persia Classic, a game that wrote platformer history arriving on Android devices priced at $2.30. The new PoP title promises “stunning visuals and new gameplay” and the makers of the title said that The Shadow and the Flame will have upgrade graphics and sound, as well as touch controls.
This is not a mere port of the original, but rather a revamp. I expect that in a few years we’ll be playing Sands of Time and other newer titles in the series on our Tegra 5 devices… that’s how fast technology is evolving.
