Today, in a private event that took place in San Francisco, Microsoft CEO’s Satya Nadella announced the Office suite for the iPad tablet. Through the apps found in this suite we notice Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
These apps will be available later this day in Apple’s App Store at 11 am PT. We also find out that the apps are specially designed to offer a great touch experience like the ones you use on your everyday desktop system.
Anyway, it seems that these apps won’t give us too many option in the free mode, only limited abilities like read and present documents. For the other functions you’ll need to be an Office 365 subscriber.
