These days we’re seeing a lot of product announcements, and today LG has something to unveil too. Is the LG G Pad 2 8.0 tablet, device that arrives in the package with a 8-inch IPS display protected by Gorilla Glass 3 (resolution 1280 x 800 pixels / pixel density – 203 ppi).
In terms of hardware we get a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor that clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1.5 GB of RAM memory, an Adreno 305 GPU, 32 GB space of internal storage that is expandable up to 128 GB while using a microSD card, and GPRS/EDGE connectivity. As you can notice, the tablet seems to copy the form of the LG Magna smartphone.
LG G Pad 2 8.0 brings a 5-megapixel rear facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing sensor, a 4.200 mAh Li-Polymer battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with the LG UX applied on top. This tablet offers Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS, A-GPS, a microUSB v2.0 port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The new device weighs around 347 grams and measures 8.95 mm in thickness. Only two color variations will be available at start: titanium black and white. Among the extra features brought by LG, we have a dedicated Stylus Pen, LG UX support, Quick Memo and LG KnckCode. Unfortunately, we don’t have details about its price tag.
