Fujitsu is set to announce a new slate during next month’s CeBIT show, that will take place in Germany. The product is Fujitsu Stylistic Q550, a Win 7 device based on the Oak Trail platform. This is a business slate and we sure hope that Windows 7 Professional is customized in order to offer a decent portable experience.
The touchscreen should be a 10 inch LED and we’re also expecting to see a smartcard slot, fingerprint reader and up to 64GB of memory on this Fujitsu tablet. Front and rear cameras, as well as an USB socket and optional 3G module should be in the package. The battery life will be around 8 hours, according to Fujitsu, but that remains to be seen and tested.
Shipment is scheduled for April in Europe and the price is a mystery right now. More info straight from CeBIT next month!
