Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo has confirmed it will be launching a new LTE tablet with Android on the 17th of this month, with the newcomer being called DOCOMO tablet dtab d-01H. The slate will be priced at $486.
Made by Huawei, the device runs on Android 5.1 and it adopts a basic design, with big bezels and slightly curved back. There’s TV functionality on board, of the full seg kind, as well as 1W speakers and Harman/Kardon Clari-fi technology. The 10.1 inch screen upfront offers a Full HD resolution and interestingly enough the CPU choice is quite different from the other tablets on the market.
We’re getting the Hisilicon Kirin 930 made by Huawei and there’s also a powerful 13 megapixel back camera and a front 5 MP shooter. DoCoMo dtab d-01H measures 7.5 mm in thickness, weighs 498 grams and it comes in silver color only. Delivers should happen over the next weeks.
