Edigma is a company I haven’t heard of, but apparently they make some good devices, like the one shown below. This is the Displax Pad, an all in one multitouch display that basically fits the description of an oversized tablet.
It comes with a sleek design, flat surface and customizable multiuser software. The screens offer plug and play support and can be connected to computers and used right out of the box. The large format displays are available in 40, 42, 47, 55 and 65 inch versions and the screens offer support for 10 independent touches, plus a totally flat glass touch surface. The screen is a Full HD one and LED backlit, while the body of the display is made of aluminum for extra resilience.
Inside we’ve got some hardcore hardware, including a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 500 GB of storage. On the graphics side we’ve got Intel HD Graphics 4000 and the driving force behind these devices are actually some Mac mini PCs, that strangely run Windows 8 instead of OS X. Finally, it’s all completed with a bunch of 10 W speakers and 16:9 aspect ratio.
