At Computex 2014 this summer, ASUS debuted two new Transformer Pad models, the TF103 and TF303, with the first one of them being already reviewed by us, in the TF103C version. Today we learn that there’s actually one more version coming, as teased by ASUS itself on YouTube.
The newcomer is dubbed ASUS Transformer Pad TF303K and it’s supposed to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU. This is expected to be a version of the previously announced TF303(CL) unit, possibly a more affordable one, seeing how the CPU is not exactly high powered. The features we know about include the usual for a Transformer Pad: magnetic and visually appealing MagSmart hinge and a very good audio system.
This time the body is made of polycarbonate, with a 3D micro weave pattern, while the keyboard is made of aluminum. The tablet features a 10.1 inch Full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, 2 GB of RAM and most likely 16 GB of storage. The flat Zen UI is also in the mix, on top of KitKat and we also get Miracast technology. The Snapdragon S4 Pro was a very good CPU about 2 years ago and it can hold its own even today.
I wonder what the price will be for the TF303K…
