If you didn’t know the following tablet was an Archos model, you’d swear it was a Lenovo Yoga slate. This product is called Archos Flip and it’s coming at IFA 2015 next week, being leaked and specced in the meantime.
We learn that it’s going to cost 249 euros and it’s packing an Intel Atom X5 processor on board. The vibe it gives reminds me of the Lenovo Yoga 2 11 and this device comes with a 11.6 inch screen, supporting a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, plus 32 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM. It also brings an Intel Cherry Trail Z8300 processor, aka the Atom X5, clocked between 1.44 GHz and 1.84 GHz.
The OS here is Windows 10 and we’re also getting a GPS, accelerometer, HDMI, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 2 megapixel webcam, plus a built in microphone. The battery is a 8000 mAh unit and the product measures 20.1 mm in thickness. It’s expected to arrive in shops in November, seriously cannibalizing Yoga products from Lenovo. The slate is expected to be around 200 grams lighter than the Yoga 2.
