The Archos 9 tablet PC is now available for pre-order with a $550 price tag, via the company’s website, although we were expecting it to be launched on October 22nd. This tablet comes with a 8.9 inch display, Windows 7 Starter Edition, WiFi and Bluetooth.
Archos 9 does HD Video (1080p H264HP), provides a full Internet browsing experience, uses a virtual QWERTY keyboard, is able to edit and create documents and also packs a forward facing 1.3 megapixel webcam. Its battery life is 5 hours (WiFi and Bluetooth off).
