Romanian company Allview debuted a few devices yesterday, two of which are Windows Phone 8.1 devices and one a Windows 8.1 slate. The tablet is called Allview Impera i8 and it’s pictured below, plus you can watch a hands on video after the break.
The product is priced at 200 euros and it runs Windows 8.1 with Bing, which is part of the new Microsoft program that gives this version of the OS for free to OEMs. The tablet packs an Intel quad core processor, 1 GB of RAM and it offers Office 365 Personal with 1 TB of cloud storage associated. The screen here is an IPS 8 incher with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and the CPU is a 64 bit one, the Intel Atom Z3735E, clocked at 1.33 GHz.
Users also get, a microSD card slot, 16 GB of storage, WiFi and Bluetooth. There’s a 5 MP back camera, a 2 MP front videocall cam, stereo speakers and a micro HDMI port in the mix. The battery is a Li-Polymer unit with a capacity of 3800 mAh and a usage time of around 4.5 hours. This device has a 16/10 format and it’s not very thick, at 9.07 mm in waistline.
