A couple of days ago we witnessed a leak, saying that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 slates will have Exynos CPUs, in order to promote this processor made by Samsung. Then a leak showed that at least the 8 inch model will rely on a Snapdragon 400 and now there’s proof that we’ll see more Tab 4 slates getting the same chip.

At first we believed that only the 4G version of the slates will get it and now the 3G version appeared online with the same chip. The new leak comes via an online benchmark, the famous GFXBench, that shows us the Galaxy Tab 4. We spot the codename SM-T531 here, the Tab 4 10.1 3G apparently, with a MSM8226 Qualcomm CPU.

That’s the Snapdragon 400, a quad core unit clocked at 1.2 GHz. That’s the same CPU spotted in a previous leak on the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 4G tablet. The benchmark shows midrange performance, so don’t go expecting something hardcore. As far as the debut of the Galaxy Tab 4 series, these products will be announced at MWC 2014 on Monday and they’ll probably hit the shops soon after that.
